El bosque Together with Treedom we are creating a Yokogawa forest in the northern region of Central Africa in Cameroon. The west coast of the country stretches along the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean. Forests are the lungs of the earth and the world's most natural CO² storage. Trees not only absorb carbon dioxide, they also help prevent soil erosion with their roots and enrich the soil with organic matter. In this way, habitats are created that provide both humans and animals with wood, leaves, fruits, spices and herbs. The forest project is a valuable contribution to environmental protection, which Yokogawa incorporates into its sustainability goals. We have the big picture in mind: by 2050, we want to achieve net zero emissions, complete the transformation to a circular economy and make our contribution to a better world for future generations. You can find more about our approach to sustainability here. Take part and plant your own tree. This way we can protect nature and preserve the environment together.
