Ho creato questa foresta perchè sento un enorme debito di riconoscenza verso Madre Terra e vorrei poterle restituire almeno una parte di tutto ciò che lei mi ha donato nel corso della vita. Pensando a quanta frutta e verdura ho mangiato, a quanti sacchi di pellet ho consumato, a quanta legna ho utilizzato per costruire mobili e fare bricolage non posso far altro che sentirmi molto in debito con la Terra. Allo stesso tempo non posso immaginare un futuro (per le generazioni che verranno) senza alberi, senza natura, senza ecosistemi, senza animali e senza piante e fiori. La Terra è un Santuario che stiamo brutalmente depredando. Stiamo perdendo ecosistemi, biodiversità. Stiamo accelerando l'estinzione di massa di innumerevoli specie vegetali ed animali. Quindi voglio dare un contributo concreto, per quanto piccolo, affinchè questo pianeta abbia un futuro migliore rispetto al presente che sta vivendo. Ogni albero è vita, e la vita è sacra!
