The Forest

Not everyone thinks about it but also the development and use of software produces CO2. The electricity we use, not always from renewable sources, and the pollution generated by hardware production are often ignored. Antares SQL aims to be an open source and carbon neutral software through the opportunity given by Treedom to plant trees around the world. This is a way to compensate for CO2 emissions and help people of developing countries.

Impact

The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
