The Forest
Care for the environment is a priority for Termotecnica Pericoli, not only in Europe but especially in developing countries where local laws on pollution, on consumer standards and the protection of the environment are more permissive.
However even in countries where the containment of pollution is not a prioriry, the installation of lower energy livestock and greenhouse facilities increase production and can feed more people.
We all live on the same planet and the our dream is to improve it, with appropriate technology and not just in Italy, but worldwide.
As proof of this philosophy, we decided to reallocate part of our budget originally assigned to advertising campaigns in printed magazines to purchase trees in Africa in order to create our small forest, which we want to improve over the years.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
