The Forest
In line with the objectives of the EU Commission's Plastics and Bioeconomy
Strategy, Polytan is intensively researching the utilisation of bio- and CO2-based
plastics. Resource preservation and climate protection are therefore core objectives
of our innovation programme, the results of which you can find at Polytan under the
"Green Technology" (GT) line. But that's not enough for us. In addition to the
contribution made by our climate-friendly products in the Green Technology line,
together with our customers, we would like to set another example for environmental
protection!
With every sports facility equipped with one of our environmentally friendly GT
products, we are planting trees in our joint project – the Polytan forest. We would like
to thank the many municipalities, associations, architects and athletes for their trust
in our Polytan Green Technology. They thus make an important contribution to a
climate-friendly future in sport!

Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
