Trees
Our trees are photographed, geolocalized and have their own online page where you can follow the history of the project they are part of.

Forests
Our forest is made up of a mix of plants that help make the land arable for the benefit of local communities. The main trees planted are mangroves and moringas; due to their particular characteristics, they purify the water from microorganisms harmful to human health and to the environment, and contribute to the significant absorption of CO2 carbon dioxide.Moringa is considered a healing plant: it’s a daily food for local inhabitans and it has been used for centuries for its nutritional properties to fight against the pain of malnutrition.Defined as a "Tree that purifies", it absorbs bacteria and pollution in the water, incorporating them into "flakes", which then sink to the bottom and can thus be easily eliminated.Another essential plant for the entire planet is Mangrovia, that absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and stores it for centuries in the ground water. Recent studies have shown that mangroves are capable of holding up to 10 times the amount of carbon dioxide per hectare than terrestrial forests. Our “All Green Society” forest is a real tool in the fight against climate change.Sustainability and climate protection are the global challenges of our time. We take these issues seriously and we focus on the value of sustainability, by making a concrete contribution to protect the environment. Our “ALL GREEN SOCIETY” forest is an example of social responsibility in which Phoenix Contact believes and invests.
