Portugal recognizes that the UN's Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals are the common vision for humanity, a contract between world leaders and the people and ‘a list of things to do on behalf of the people and the planet’.Leoni Portugal chooses to go one step further in its sustainability strategy.We decide to actively collaborate by creating the 1st Leoni Portugal Forest.We are committed to agroforestry, which goes further than reforestation, which is at the mercy of nature.&nbsp;This initiative consists of giving&nbsp;250&nbsp;fruit trees to local communities in Tanzania and Malawi. In this way, we are contributing to achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (social inclusion, economic development, food safty and environmental protection) and promoting peace, justice, and effective institutions.We dedicate each one of these trees to our employees and customers, so that they can embrace the sustainable cause with Leoni Portugal.

Portugal is a company that belongs to the LEONI Wiring Systems Division, which is the largest in Europe and one of the world's leading suppliers of complete wiring systems, as well as customized wiring for the automotive industry. Leoni Portugal is located in north of the country, near Guimaraes city.We have been in the last years around 1000 employees.We are part of Off Road business and we have several costumers like: Agco, Cat,Volvo,Perkins, Cummins, JCB, John Deere.The off-road business sector is defined by very low volumes and a high number of technical changes.&nbsp;Our production concept is based on a production by order and a real (and weekly updated) customer demand. This ensures that only what is needed to fulfill the customer's orders is produced.&nbsp;In order to achieve our goals we rely on our teams of direct and indirect workers who contribute with their knowledge, flexibility and team spirit , that make our company so proud.Part of our focus is on climate neutrality and the efficient and sparing use of resources along the entire value chain.&nbsp;
