The Forest
The Krones.shop gives commercial customers worldwide the opportunity to purchase original parts and accessories online for machines and lines in the beverage and packaging industry. Since sustainability is a topic that affects us all, we in the Global eBusiness team and the international subsidiaries would like to make a contribution to preserving our environment with the "Krones.shop Forest". Together with Treedom, we plant social-ecological trees in the global south and, with the help of this campaign, support small farmers, preserve biodiversity, and absorb CO2. In this way, we not only want to contribute to the environmental aspect of Krones' target picture, but also make a contribution to a more sustainable future and do something good.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
