Climate protection and sustainability require commitment and the right attitude from us all. As an enabler of energy efficient living, we develop smart technologies and services that make it very easy to save energy and conserve resources. Thirty-six per cent of Europe’s greenhouse-gas emissions are attributable to buildings, particularly their heating systems. ista wants to make a key contribution to climate protection so that future generations can inhabit a healthy, beautiful planet. We’ve therefore set ambitious climate targets.We aim to cut our carbon emissions to net  zero by 2030. It’s worth mentioning that ista’s own operations have been carbon-neutral since  June 2021: we now offset emissions that we can’t yet avoid by supporting certified climate-protection projects. But we would like to move more. That is why we are committed to social issues, planting trees and enabling our stakeholders to do the same together with us through our corporate forest.
