The creation of this forest is the tangible sign that girls and boys from the Interact District 2110 and District 2430 want to donate to this corner of the planet to contribute to CO2 absorption and oxygen release, essential mechanisms for life.
The choice to carry out this project together with the Turkish boys, has a dual objective. In fact, despite the distance between our countries, the different lifestyles and cultures, we still have something: we are part of the same system Earth and therefore it is up to each of us to preserve it and inspire others.
Another dream realized thanks to Treedom and the great Interactiana family.

Interact District 2110

<p>Interact is an association founded by a project of Rotary International in 1962, and is made up of boys and girls aged between 12 and 18 who meet and work with the aim of discovering the value of serving with disinterest.The sponsoring Rotary clubs serve as mentors and guide the Interactors to carry out service projects (both locally and internationally) and help them develop their leadership skills.</p><p>The Interact 2110 District of Sicily and Malta (Italy) includes 32 clubs and over 450 members.
The IRD year 2018/19 Maria Virginia Pitari, has dedicated the year of service to the motto "From Dream to Sign," meaning to conform the action of the Clubs of the Interact 2110 District to the typical ability of young people to know "to dream" even great initiatives, recalling them at the same time to the concreteness, or the ability to transform such dreams into reality, in order to leave a tangible sign of the presence of Interact in the community.
In this context, membership is part of the Treedom project, which will be expanded thanks to the Interact Clubs of District 2110, and also thanks to the Clubs of District 2430 of Turkey (twin district in 2018).</p>
