A Tree for Hu

Human Company, a Florence-based group active in the hospitality and dining sectors and a leader in open-air tourism in Italy, was founded in the 1980s as ECV Group, born from the entrepreneurial vision of the Cardini Vannucchi family, a Tuscan household originally operating in the textile industry in Prato. The shift toward tourism began in 1982 with the acquisition of the first campsite, Il Girasole, in Figline Valdarno. This property, initially a campground for tents and caravans, was transformed into a state-of-the-art village spanning over 31 hectares of greenery, featuring comfortable mobile homes. This successful formula was replicated over the years in each of the Group's villages. Thanks to bold acquisitions, significant investments, and over 40 years of expertise, the Group has become the leading player in Italy's open-air hospitality sector, offering a wide and diversified range of tourism experiences. Human Company currently operates ten outdoor facilities, including villages and camping-in-town locations in Tuscany, Veneto, Lazio, and Luxembourg, complemented by two next-generation Plus Hostels in Florence and Prague and the "Palagina" estate in the Chianti hills near Figline Valdarno.
