At Ferrer we are totally committed to environmental protection. Because we want to ensure a liveable planet, for ourselves and for future generations.Our aim is to reduce our direct greenhouse gas emissions by 50% and indirect emissions by 25% by 2030.To do this, we have defined a Climate Strategy with six ambitious commitments to reduce our emissions. And those emissions that we cannot reduce will be offset by reforestation projects in order to be carbon positive by 2030. As such, we have neutralized our direct emissions for 2020 with this forest.With this ‘Forest for good’, we want to offset the emissions that we generate, protect the&nbsp; environment and promote social cohesion projects in the different areas where ‘our’ trees are growing.

At Ferrer, we want to make a positive impact in society. Our work is based in the pillars of Great People, Liveable Planet and Social Justice; three pillars that condition and define the way we face the world.We were founded in the beautiful city of Barcelona in 1959 and are currently present in more than a hundred countries. We have a team of more than 1,800 people.Our core activity is the research, development and commercialization of medicines, but for Ferrer the pharmaceutical business is not an end in itself, but a means to effect real social change. We aim for a minimum level of profitability in order to guarantee the sustainability of the company and then give back to society everything we can. To ensure this commitment, we have defined two main therapeutic areas: vascular and interstitial lung diseases and neurological disorders.We want this vision to inform our daily actions and decisions, the processes and culture of Ferrer, and also go beyond the company itself.&nbsp;This is the spirit that our corporate identity embodies, the “for good” that always appears with our logo.
