The Forest
Con la creazione di questa foresta, noi dell’Associazione Italiana Scatolifici vogliamo dare il nostro contributo alla riforestazione delle aree devastate dal maltempo dello scorso anno in Veneto.
La nostra foresta è per noi molto importante per diversi motivi. Gli alberi ci danno la carta che poi, trasformata in cartone, diventa la nostra materia prima quotidiana: è per noi fondamentale proteggere questa risorsa, non solo attraverso le catene di custodia delle foreste ma anche con iniziative importanti come questa. Il Veneto è un territorio per noi rilevante, dove hanno sede numerose imprese associate: anche per questo ci fa piacere portare un forte gesto di solidarietà e vicinanza a questa zona. Infine, vogliamo che la nostra foresta cresca giorno per giorno: tutti i nostri Associati potranno decidere di aggiungere degli alberi. La nostra Associazione è nata per ‘crescere insieme’ e vogliamo che anche la nostra foresta cresca insieme a noi.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
