All of us can take small steps to contribute to a more sustainable planet. Together with the Association, the organising committee of AIJA’s 57th Annual Congress ‘Sustainability and the Law: Planet. People. Future.’ has been inspired to do just that: take action to be more sustainable! Thanks to our partner Treedom, AIJA will have one tree planted for every participant to offset the carbon emissions of the event. These trees will be planted to support local communities in Cameroon. AIJA Forest

Established in 1962, AIJA is the only global association designed by and dedicated to lawyers and in-house counsel below 45 years old. Today, AIJA has over 4,000 active members in more than 90 countries worldwide, including strongly established roots in Europe and a growing presence in the Americas, Asia and the Middle East. The activities of AIJA are coordinated by 20 scientific commissions, in charge of organising our events all around the globe and keeping members up to the date in their respective areas of practice.
