The Forest
Once again COP 27, the United Nations Conference on Climate Change, closed its yearly meeting with minor results. As Antonio Guterres, UN Secretary General, put it there was a total lack of ambition. It is therefore extremely important that private enterprises do their part in the safeguarding of our Planet. It's been years since we at World Cargo and World Pet and Animal Transport have decided to contribute actively to this global effort. Thus we continue our collaboration with Treedom, a platform that allows to adopt plants where they are most needed and respecting the local ecosystems. It is our way to lower our CO2 footprint.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
The trees in the forest will absorb:
29.00 t* of CO₂
