The Forest
Traveling by bike is a non-polluting activity. Oil is replaced by the force of your legs (mainly thanks to all that spaghetti and wine you enjoyed the night before!). However activities such as the transportation of luggage and travelling to Italy from overseas, usually by plane, do cause pollution.
Consequently, Salento Bici Tour/ I Slow You has decided to compensate the emissions generated by transport, and invite its customers to take part in this initiative, so that traveling by bike can really be “zero-emission travels”.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
