The Forest
UOMOeAMBIENTE chose Kenya, Camerun, Tanzania and Madagascar to implement our Treedom initiative and contribute to environmental health and in the sustainable development of other surrounding areas, which go beyond national borders.Our trees in Kenya, Camerun, Tanzania and Madagascar are dedicated to our full community of stakeholders, those who share our values as people, rather than as professionals.One of them, a special person who used to be our collaborator, Giuseppe Mosca, sadly changed life. This forest bears his name and is dedicated to his memory for his valuable contribution to UOMOeAMBIENTE human and professional growth. Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
