The Forest
As a B Corp, we want to do our bit to make this a better world. Therefore, we are going to create the SEK Forest by planting 1,000 trees of different species in a deforested area of Tanzania: lemon trees, coffee plants, mango, cocoa, guava...These trees will be planted directly by local farmers and will contribute to producing environmental benefits for the entire planet and social and economic benefits for these communities. Just like a tree needs water, light and nutrients to grow strong and healthy, children need an adequate education to develop fully. Because education is the foundation that allows us to grow intellectually, emotionally and socially.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
