The Forest
Rosso35 has chosen Madagascar as an area of intervention for the particular importance of its protected natural areas, populated by animal and plant species unique in the world. Also, two parks in the country have been included by UNESCO in the list of World Heritage Sites. More generally, every activity aimed at preserving the Malagasy environment is of great importance and even more so in recent years, also in light of demographic increase of the country, which has seen its population quintuplicate in the last half century.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
