Rhenus Offshore Logistics provides customized logistic services for the offshore industry during the preparation, installation and commissioning of offshore wind farms. We report the CO² production resulting from this project to Treedom on a quarterly basis. A scientifically determined factor is used to convert this into trees to be planted.We hope to be able to make a small contribution with this and wish to extend this approach step by step to further client projects.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
