March 4th 2021: Pelliconi turns 82!It is well known that when it's someone's birthday, it is tradition to give a gift and even better if the gift is not conventional.To celebrate these 82 years of passion, dedication, effort and success we have decided to create a forest of 82 trees in the country where our story began, Italy.The "Pelliconi 4 Italy" forest is growing within one of the most famous parks in the world, and UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Park of the Rupestrian Churches of Matera, right in front of the Sassi of Matera.The new forest, completely Made (& planted) in Italy, is thus added to the "Pelliconi Plants a Forest" Sustainability Project that the company launched in 2020 to communicate the importance of safeguarding our fantastic planet.“A falling tree makes more noise than a growing forest.” (Lao Tzu)
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
