The Forest
The Pagani International forest covers areas in Africa, Central America and Nepal, and is the first to bear the name of our company. We began to support the Treedom project as we wanted to do something that would make our commitment to the environment even more effective. We started with a few trees, but soon the collaboration with Treedom grew to become a continuous action, indeed a structural element of our strategic planning. We are convinced that companies can, indeed must, play their part in fighting climate change, because today social responsibility means above all environmental responsibility. We sell in our products all over the world, and it seemed only natural to us that our first interventions should be in those areas that needed them most. The plants in the Pagani International forest are mainly fruit trees. These not only contribute to the livelihoods of farmers and the development of local communities, but also represent a barrier against savage deforestation and the resulting risk of desertification.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
The trees in the forest will absorb:
