The Forest
The NAVEX Risk & Compliance Virtual Conference has been an online gathering place for thousands of attendees for over a decade. Our goal for this event was, first and foremost, to offer access to industry expertise and content that is typically only available at in-person events. We are proud to provide this conference at no cost to help organizations reduce their carbon footprint and allow larger teams to join – while saving on travel, lodging, and conference fees.Our event is a reminder that an online, interactive experience continues to reap rewards for our customers and planet. Since its inception, our annual conference has attracted more than 100,000 attendees, none of whom traveled for the event. We estimate 331 Metric Tons of CO2 was saved in 2022 by those who did not travel to our conference.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
