The Forest
Maximizing the value of wood is in our roots, and we understand the importance of each tree. Our main goal has always been to provide our customers with the most economical and sustainable wood utilization. Therefore, in our continued journey toward innovation and sustainability, we partnered with Treedom as an additional way to commit to a more sustainable future. Involving our MiCROTEC employees, partners, and customers with a digital experience, we aim to make a symbolic contribution to the planet's well-being by planting new trees yearly. This initiative is about more than planting trees and watching them grow. It's a shared experience that unites all MiCROTEC people towards a common goal, fostering a sense of connection among us. Each tree in our forest carries a name, symbolizing that each of us has a vital role in our collective commitment to a greener future.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
