Das Jahr 2020 ist für uns ein ganz besonderes: Denn Medicom feiert 25. Geburtstag. Anlässlich unseres Firmenjubiläums möchten wir einen positiven Beitrag fur diesen Planeten leisten. Das Ziel ist es, weltweit Bäume zu pflanzen und anhaltende Veränderungen zu erreichen.10.000 Baumpflanzungen sind der Startpunkt eines großen Medicom-Projekts. Und so sieht es aus:12 Baumarten: Grevillea (Silbereiche), Avocado, Papaya, Baumtomate, Wasserbirnenbaum, rosa Zedernbaum, Meru-Eiche, Tephrosiabaum, Niembaum, Cacaobaum, Moringabaum, Kaffeebaum.In 6 Ländern: Kenia, Madagaskar, Tansania, Kamerun, Ecuador, Guatemala.Mit einer CO2-Speicherung über 10 Jahren auf Basis von 10.000 Bäumen: 1.894 Tonnen CO2 (bzw. 1.894.000 kg)
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
