The Forest
April 22 is the International Earth Day, a time to reflect on the most pressing ecological issues, from the climate crisis to deforestation. "Restore our Earth", is the invitation that this special day addresses to all of us. Bayer Italy accepts the invitation by planting 1650 trees to donate to its employees! Why are trees so important to the environment? Because they absorb CO2, giving oxygen to the planet, they protect biodiversity and prevent soil erosion. A concrete action that contributes to the achievement of 10 out of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) of the UN 2030 Agenda to promote human well-being and protect the environment. Use the code you received by e-mail and plant your tree in the Bayer Italy Forest! Give a name to your tree, follow each stage of its life, geolocate it and learn about all its wonderful characteristics.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
The trees in the forest will absorb:
390.15 t* of CO₂
