The Forest
The trees that make up GreenWood represent the network of people and companies that choose Aedera's digital services and technologies as the main driver of the evolution of their business.
The tree since ancient times, has been seen as a symbol of renewal, rebirth, regeneration and allegory of life in constant movement.
GreenWood forest is the result of the digital transformation of the market.
GreenWood is located in Kenya, and consists of both fruit and forest trees to guarantee the biodiversity of the territory and the best yield of the land.
Each forest tree contributes to the absorption of CO2 emissions, while fruit trees support farmers and the local population, as well as promoting small-scale reforestation through a participatory approach.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
The trees in the forest will absorb:
48.75 t* of CO₂
