The Forest
Rebuilding the bond with nature does not only mean using natural elements, but ensuring that these are sustainable for the environment, in all their aspects. The concept of natural is in fact often associated with the safeguard of the planet, but what comes from nature is not always automatically sustainable. The use of stone, for example, causes significant land consumption and also generates large quantities of waste. Geopietra® reconstructed stone is the right alternative to natural stone for cladding: it looks like the original but eliminates all its technical limitations. It’s a solution that reduces excavation and adapts to modern, sustainable building materials and systems. In the same way Treedom chose to cultivate only native plants, maintaining the original biodiversity of the area and avoiding the introduction of new species. Geopietra® chose Treedom because of the many similarities of thought and action, because building a more sustainable future also passes through the dignity of local communities. Design this forest with Geopietra®, choose which native plant you would like to sow, grow and sprout.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
The trees in the forest will absorb:
40.50 t* of CO₂
