The Forest
Coop Liguria, Coop Lombardia and Nova Coop give life to a new project for the environment that involves the planting of 5,000 new trees which will benefit not only the environment but also the communities that live there, both by reducing CO2 emissions and by supporting local economies. The Coop Forest, in collaboration with Treedom, confirms the commitment that Coop has always shown towards respect for the environment and the protection of our planet. Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
The trees in the forest will absorb:
