FESSURA has lanched a program to help do our part in making the planet GREENER with a Cacao forest in Camerun.The project is connected to the FESSURA CHANGE sneaker that is not just a product of fashion and design but also technological footwear that involves the customer in its “construction”.The SOLE is the fixed element of the shoe while the UPPER, a one-metre-long elastic strip, is threaded through slits in the sole itself, allowing the shoe to be constructed without the use of machinery, glue or stitches. Customers can engage their imagination to change the colour and style of the shoes to create their own unique look. Patented in 1999, it can be considered a pioneer in Eco-friendly footwear, as the absence of the conventional industrial construction process significantly reduces Co2 emissions (-50%).
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
