The Forest
This planet belongs to all of us and it is up to all of us to take care of it. Together.
Hence the idea of creating an EssilorLuxottica forest and planting 1,700 trees in Kenya and Madagascar, providing work and sustenance to local farmers.
The objectives are multiple: to absorb CO2, favoring biodiversity and contributing to an improvement in the environmental conditions of our planet and the socio-economic conditions of the poorest populations.
We have a common vision and a shared mission: to help people see better, live better and fully enjoy life, also through actions of environmental sustainability!

Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
