The Forest
For this Christmas time PRATI decided to devolve the sum to Treedom and its partnering organizations. This project will help the environment as well as provide farmer groups and their families with income, educational and training activities, food security and opportunities to start a business from selling tree products such as fruits in local markets. Furthermore, revenues deriving from the tree planting activities will meet the needs of the rural farmers by paying school fees, buying food and initiating many income generating activities for sustainable development.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
