The Forest
Continuous improvement is a key principle for Carlisle Brake&Friction and sustainability a key value. From these elements comes Carlisle Brake&Friction Forest, a project that involves the planting of 1600 trees in order to safeguard biodiversity and increase our commitment to creating a more sustainable future. The company, in Italy, accounts for its GHG emissions in order to quantify its Carbon footprint and define a Carbon Management system aimed at identifying and implementing actions aimed at reducing CO2 emissions, promoting environmental sustainability, social responsibility and governance policies according to ESG criteria. The collaboration with Treedom confirms our intention to make a real difference for our planet. The implementation of this project allows to significantly reduce pollutant emissions, support the populations of the places involved in the initiative, preserve and care for existing forests.Carlisle Brake&Friction believes in people and social responsibility as deep roots for the growth of a solid enterprise.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
The trees in the forest will absorb:
396.56 t* of CO₂
