The Forest
Thanks to the partnership with Treedom, specialised in reforestation and similar activities, we have decided to give birth to this forest, with the aim of reducing the amount of Co2 produced by our company with regard to the energy consumption of our production process.Each forest is dedicated to one of the grandchildren of the Dolci family, that is Ilaria, Anne and Alice, in the hope that they will develop a respectful attention to the environment, as is the tradition of our company. We are, in fact, convinced that obtaining ecological products is not enough and that it is far more important to have a manufacturing organisation which minimises the energetic and environmental impact.Our company aims in fact at adopting all the necessary practices to reach this objective: re-cycling the water used in the manufacturing process, LED lighting, solar panels for heating water, low energy consumption engines and where possible, the use of inverters, obtaining white certificates for some machinery under the supervision of authorised institutions, disposal of special waste products thanks to agreements with certified companies.The forest also aims at contributing to the local economy through the commercial use of the product, once the tree becomes productive.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
