A plantation of 1000 fruit trees to be planted in Madagascar, Tanzania, Guatemala, Ecuador and Colombia during 2022
The initiative will not only have an impact on the environment, but will also support the local populations, who will be involved in the harvesting of the fruit with which they will be able to support their basic food needs.
With the aim of raising awareness on issues of social responsibility, SENEC Italy has decided to be helped by Treedom to give a concrete hand to reduce CO2 emissions.
This initiative is just the first step of a long path that SENEC Italy will take to create a solid set of values that is highly relevant to the younger generations more and more attentive to environmental issues.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
