The Forest
A climate forest for the Rauch Juice BarWe plant trees in order to make our Rauch Juice Bar in the Neubaugasse in Vienna climate-neutral. Our first step was to calculate the carbon footprint. To do this, we analyzed all the fruit, vegetables, baked goods, cups, bottles and cleaning material that are bought. We also considered the energy that is used, the waste and even how our juicers commute to work. Using this data, climate specialist c7-consult calculated that we use 69 tons of greenhouse gas emissions per year.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
