The Forest
The European Space Agency (ESA) organises periodically the Living Planet Symposium, one of the biggest Earth observation conferences in the world. For the 2022 edition, the Agency decided to create the LPS22 forest. Having a positive impact on the planet is a fundamental value of the symposium, therefore ESA took action and gave back to Planet Earth by planting trees that help absorbing CO2 emissions.You are invited to join ESA by planting your own tree! Let’s make the world greener together, one tree at a time.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
