As a 3rd generation family business, sustainability is a crucial part of our corporate philosophy and responsibility.As environmental partner of the City of Hamburg, our company has been “Ökoprofit” certified for many years now. We invested a lot in the past to significantly reduce our CO2 emissions. Be it through production of our own energy, heat and cold, as well as through the purchase of sustainably certified raw materials.We fight against child labor in developing countries of the raw materials we use and support local development projects.The creation of green spaces and forests is a crucial step towards survival of our global civilization. If, in addition, this even bears income potential in Third World countries, it is a great synergy we believe.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
