The Forest
This year, on the occasion of the Italian national day of energy-saving and sustainable lifestyles, Teoresi has decided to participate in “M’illumino di meno”, initiative promoted by Caterpillar Radio2 broadcast since 2005. This year it’s dedicated to increasing the amount of trees, plants and green around us.The forest “It’s time to turn on the green light!” is dedicated to all the Teoresi employees who contribute to help the planet with their virtuous actions. We have collected their green practices through a contest: the keeper of this forest are the colleagues whose experiences and point of views have been an inspiration for the whole company community!The trees will be planted in Basilicata region: the project will be realized in the “Parco delle Chiese Rupestri del Materano” and it aims at improving biodiversity through the planting of local species.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
