The Forest
As SUNSTAR, we strongly believed in the importance of small gestures that can have a big impact. By caring for our mouths through simple daily oral care rituals, we can significantly improve our holistic well-being. And not only that. Through these same small actions, we aim to contribute to the health of our planet, by offering more and more sustainable oral care products and supporting reforestation initiatives, one tree at a time. To mark the launch of our new GUM Classic toothbrush, featuring a handle made from 100% bio-based materials (mass balance approach) and fully plastic-free and recyclable packaging, we have decided to gift trees to our customers who embrace this change, creating our very first "GUM Forest for the planet".GUM: Proud to care.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
