The Forest
With the Bosch-Forest, Bosch Thermotechnology is supporting the world's most natural CO² storage facility: the tree. Every day, at least three new seedlings are to be planted for a Bosch-Forest in Kenya, with the aim of creating at least 1,000 new trees here by the end of 2020. The main beneficiaries of the Bosch forest are the climate and small farmers. To care for the trees, Bosch cooperates with local smallholders and supports them locally with the necessary know-how and technical aids.You can find out more about Bosch's commitment here.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
