Medio Chiampo is a&nbsp;100% state-owned company that manages the unified water service&nbsp;of the municipalities of Montebello Vicentino, Zermeghedo and Gambellara.&nbsp;The company manages a water supply and sewer network that is about&nbsp;200 km&nbsp;long, and a&nbsp;purification system&nbsp;suitable for a city of 500,000 inhabitants that can treat the industrial wastewater coming from the numerous tanneries in the area.Today, this growing company is&nbsp;heading positively towards future challenges&nbsp;thanks to collaborations with universities and research institutes, and an investment plan that combines territorial development with environmental protection.In addition to its commitment to guarantee that citizens receive the best quality water, the company is continuing its development of a master plan whose technical-functional aspects are united with territorial harmonisation.&nbsp;“Water, the mirror of the future” is the motto chosen by the company to sum up its role in permanent environmental protection and its commitment to sustainability.
